Original Handstitched Work
Each piece has been inspired from a moment or memory captured while I am out and about, visiting friends, places or walking around in nature. I often take a snap shot or make a quick sketch for reference and then develop the piece once I am home in my sketchbook.
Once it is ready to transfer onto the fabric I cut out all the felt pieces pinning them down and stitching them on before working into the piece, bringing the details to life with my needles and thread.
